Welcome to How To Tie a Tie! We hope you enjoy this site and find it helpful. There is a fun story behind this site. We hope it will help you learn how to tie neckties in a fun, easy way. We are three teenagers and our names are John, Matthew, and Nathan. Our ages range from 11 years old to 17 years old. We created this website over the summer as a project with our father. He is writing a book about how to create businesses and wanted to teach us how to work with engineers around the world. He also wanted to teach us ways to succeed in business and technology. We are building this site to save money for college and to provide some scholarships for disadvantaged teenagers in Nepal. We made several really good friends in Nepal from when we went trekking in the Himalayas. We want to help them get an education. How To Tie A Necktie Introduction |
If you are a person who has problems with how to tie a tie, or simply just want to learn a new style, this is the place to be! There are many people in the world, such as myself, who were once desperate when it came to tying a tie to go to the school dance. I am currently 16 and last year I went to Prom. I found myself mortally embarrassed with a few minutes left before I picked up my date. I worked with great zeal - tangling myself up in a big-jumbled knot and fanatically trying to get the right look by improvising. I wanted that big, bulky, sexy colossal knot with my tux! Not the weak, flimsy, sloppy and puny little stud, currently poking out from my Adams apple. I realized that as I joked about this with my friends, they had similar problems. My friends were almost late from picking up their dates because they didn’t know how to tie a tie.
Fortunately my date went well, but my ambitions to learn a new “Hot Godzilla Knot” was even greater! My younger brothers, friends, and I set our minds to it, as we learned with all our might, mind and strength, fourteen different ways of how to tie a necktie. It doesn’t matter if you go to church, date hot babes, report to important business meetings, or just want to look fancy. The truth is that every person should know how to tie a tie! It is part of our world’s tradition to look nice, and ties are the things that make the world look nice!
When my brothers and I learned these knots, we greatly wanted to help out all of you teens, fathers, brothers, and mothers (with sons) to know how to tie a tie. We decided to build this website as a resource to help you achieve your tie tying success! We created a separate page for each of the fourteen knots, each of which contains diagrams and videos that will help you learn how to tie a tie more easily.
